I just want balance. I’m already high-strung as it is; I know this. But I thought life would settle, mesh, increase joy-minimize frustration, see observable change in pursuit of goals and dreams, and maybe earn a little karmic kick-back for what I’ve had to ensure from the bitch. Today? I’d be happy with a fist full of pills and a bottle of vodka. Tomorrow? This will just have been a bad day. C’est la vie.

I am amazed—but shouldn’t be—how focused things become and how the universe starts chattering around my headspace when the noise disappears and people-wasting-air fade into the background. It just makes creativity, study, and progress so much easier.
